What is Laughter Yoga ?
Laughter yoga is not comedy – Laughter Yoga is a form of exercise which combines deep breathing techniques from Yoga, with a series of laughter exercises to create an effective and unique exercise program.

Laughter Yoga is based on the science that the body cannot differentiate between simulated and genuine laughter,so the physiological and psychological benefits are the same. Laughing for no reason is the main philosophy of Laughter Yoga.

Begin with Laughter Yoga Basics : Certified 1-day Basic Learning Course
The first step in your Laughter Yoga journey is to complete the 1-day Basic Learning Course, this training will teach you how to practise Laughter Yoga, for improved health and longevity, and to help you to live a more joyful and positive life. You will learn how to laugh for no reason at any time you wish, even in your most challenging times.
This inspiring 1-day training is for everyone – there are no pre-requisites. The 1-day Basic Learning Course is held at our Training Centre in North Co.Cork approximately every 2 months, and may also be scheduled on demand.
On completion of the 1-day Basic Learning Course you are eligible to progress to further study for the 2-day Certified Laughter Yoga Leader Training and Registration as an International Laughter Yoga Leader with Laughter Yoga International by Dr. Madan Kataria, Founder of Laughter Yoga.

Laughter Yoga 2-day Laughter Yoga Professional Leader Certification
Once you have completed your 1-day Laughter Yoga Basic Learning Course, you are then eligible to progress with further training as a Laughter Yoga Leader by completing the 2-day Laughter Yoga Leader Certification. Training with us here at Laughter Yoga Academy you will be Registered with Laughter Yoga International as an International Laughter Yoga Leader including listing on the worldwide directory of Laughter Yoga Leaders!!
This inspiring 2-day training is held 3 times a year and also on demand. We need a minimum of three people for the course to go ahead, so ask your friends! Prerequisite: 1-day Laughter Yoga Basic Learning course.
